The Board of Directors of Lhicarsa, chaired by the mayor Ana Belén Castejón, informed this morning of the deadlines for the arrival and start-up of the new road cleaning machinery of the municipality of Cartagena.
In this way, the first to start up will be the new blowers, which will be working in the streets of the city within a month, followed by scrubbers and brushcutters that within two months must be integrated into the service. cleaning.
In total there are 47 elements, among which are five trucks, 30 blowers, two hydrocleaners, a tractor, two sweepers, a cistern, three scrubbers, two brushcutters and a wiper.
In addition, the renewal of 200 containers of organic waste, 70 of paper and cardboard, 50 of plastics and packaging, and 500 new bins of 50 liters capacity is planned.
The Board of Directors, which also attended councilors Juan Pedro Torralba, David Martinez Noguera and Manuel Mora, has announced the delivery times for all this machinery and equipment, ranging from one to eight months.
