Given the delicate situation suffered by the Hemodynamics Unit of the Hospital de Santa Lucia, the mayor has appeared on the morning of this Monday, May 6, to ask the Socialist Parliamentary Group of the Regional Assembly to meet the permanent deputation of the Parliament Autonomic with the objective that the president of the Autonomous Community of the Region explain the reduction of hours and that the unit returns to attend 24 hours a day.
Today, afternoons, weekends and holidays, acute patients and people who suffer a heart attack are taken in a mobile ICU to La Arrixaca de Murcia, since the Santa Lucia Hemodynamics service is closed.
Today the report of the year 2016 has been made public showing the results of this unit in which the data report the 8 deceased who were on the waiting list because of the large waiting list of Cardiac Surgery at La Arrixaca Hospital .
