Firefighters of the Firefighting, Salvage and Civil Protection Service of the City of Cartagena (SEIS) evacuated yesterday an elderly woman from her home located on an eighth floor of the street of La Paz, near the Parque de Los Juncos, in the Casas de Peralta.

At about 10:30 in the morning the municipal employees were required by the emergency services so that in collaboration with toilets they proceeded to rescue an elderly woman who had broken her hip from her home.

The evacuation had to be done through a window and through a car scale.

The wound was later transferred to the hospital.
