On the occasion of the celebration of International Book Day, on Tuesday April 23 took place in the Plaza del Icue in Cartagena, a chained reading of texts belonging to the authors who for 11 years have been invited to the Meetings with the reading clubs of the city.
An activity framed within the program AbriLibro of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena with which the Network of Municipal Libraries wants to encourage reading among all audiences and in which attendees read texts of Santiago Posteguillo, Elvira Menéndez, María Dueñas or Javier Moro among other illustrious names of contemporary Spanish literature.
There was no lack of music from Donsax, who entertained the event, nor the presence of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Culture, Tourism and Equality of Cartagena, David Martínez Noguera.
