The City of Cartagena, through the Department of Social Services, in collaboration with entities and associations such as Cáritas, ACCEN, Red Cross, Huertecica and Hospitality have launched the Leisure and Free Time Program 'X 12' aimed at people without home.
Through this program, 25 people are currently participating, who have been forced to live on the streets at some point and receive training for their social and labor inclusion.
During this year, 12 activities will be carried out among which stand out: a walk through Our History, the route of the Five Hills, the excursion to the Fuensanta and the Valley, the Cartagena North route, the route to Mount Galeras, the Canteras Romanas route , the Mirador del Roldan route, the Mar Menor route, the La Parreta-Alumbres-Cabezo Rajao route, the San Julián-La Cortina route (Santa Ana and Santa Florentina batteries) and the La Unión mining route.
This morning, April 23, the Homeless and Passersby Service of the Department of Social Services, has distributed the necessary supplies to perform these activities of hiking and cultural tourism such as hats, shirts, compasses, backpacks, water bottles and raincoats.
