From the City of Cartagena we have as objective for this year among others to promote responsible ownership as well as the adoption of domestic animals that are waiting for a second chance.
In this sense the City of Cartagena, through the Municipal Laboratory of the Department of Economic Strategy, Animal Health and Welfare, collaborates in the celebration on Saturday, April 27, of an 'Adoption Fair', organized by Animur (Federation of Protectors of animals of the Region of Murcia).
The participating protectors are: Animur, Geocat, La Casita de López, SOS Murcia Cats, Refugees, Second Chance, Bichetes, Patitas Unidas (Los Alcázares), Catad, Alfredro Canet (canine educator), Mascofamily, Kiwoko (San Pedro del Pinatar) and Pequerico, among others.
At the fair, there will be a canine parade of animals awaiting adoption as well as a pet contest, there will also be activities for children, in addition to an educational talk by the canine educator Alfredo Canet, all with the aim of making the problem visible that suffer hundreds of animals of our municipality that are abandoned by their owners and need and deserve a new home.
The schedule will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Plaza San Francisco.
