This Wednesday, April 24, at 20:00 in the El Soldadito de Plomo coffee shop, the feminist magazine 'La Madeja' will be presented by the Cartagena Piensa program, belonging to the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena.
In the act intervenes its editor, Irene Pardo Conteras, which will be presented by Belén Valera.
"In May 2010, from the feminist group of the collective Cambalache (Oviedo) we decided to start the adventure of publishing a feminist magazine, La Madeja, with the intention of giving us a voice to ourselves and others, to share knowledge and questions, to go collectively building a feminist perspective that contemplates intersectionality with other struggles.
On this last number the word borders puts us on alert, warns us of the precipice.
If we link it to feminisms, the combination is even more disturbing to us.
What are the borders within feminisms? Are we aware of all of them? Are we more sensitized to some than to others? Why? Are the borders intrinsic to feminisms?
These and other questions, because there are many borders, go through this issue of La Madeja, which is actually already the tenth. "
