Niumba, the vacation rental portal of TripAdvisor, proposed to users to choose the best Easter of 2019. After almost two weeks and 20,000 votes in total, Cartagena has won the victory.
The Cartagena celebration, which has won 7,788 votes (39% of the total), has positioned itself this time ahead of those of Valverde de la Vera, Jerez de los Caballeros, Lorca and Castro Urdiales, among others.
Niumba, through an article published on his blog, highlights the Holy Week of Cartagena procession of the Transfers of Holy Tuesday, "without doubt, the most genuine", as well as the processions of the two main brotherhoods, the Marrajos and the Californios.
The holiday rentals website celebrates this popular vote since 2017 with notable success, with the previous winners Granada and Castro Urdiales.
The users have responded very positively to the survey on Easter prepared by Niumba, which again has become the most viral content in recent weeks on the portal, accumulating more than one hundred comments from users.
In addition to Cartagena, the top 5 celebrations of Holy Week most voted in 2019 are completed by Valverde de la Vera, Jerez de los Caballeros, Lorca and Castro Urdiales.
