The Ercros company, with which the City Council reached an agreement last February, has already begun work to install the perimeter fence of the El Hondón land for restriction of access to the plot that ensures that they do not develop in the same activities not foreseen.
This is a measure that, according to the report issued by the Nuclear Safety Council on August 17, 2017, is sufficient to guarantee that the impact on the population is not significant from the point of view of radiation protection.
The perimeter fencing of the plot, which will cost about 105,000 euros, will have five double-leaf doors as indicated by the agencies that have reported favorably.
The project includes the installation of a fence of 2 meters high, the placement of about 45 warning signs, of which 12 will be on a post and the rest on the fence itself.
In addition, the perimeter in which it is going to act supposes 3,270 meters of the total of 4,000 and 30 linear meters of wall will be repaired.
