Next Friday, April 19, the party will be held to present the III Cabo Pop festival in the port of Cabo de Palos, organized by the Council of Youth of the City Council and PlanOut Cartagena with various leisure, sports and musical activities. from 5 pm in the afternoon.

All of them will be free as interventions of urban art, temporary tattoos, paddle surfing and kayaking, in addition to the performances of djs Angelpop and Defeat from 20 hours, putting a final touch to the day of presentation of the event.

The councilman of the area of ​​Youth, David Martinez, has been in charge of presenting this day that will give way to the summer festival, along with Sergio González and José Luis Ruiz, directors of PlanOut and organizers of the festival, this Monday, the 15th at the Palacio Consistorial

After the success of the previous editions, the festival returns for the third consecutive year on 16 and 17 August to Cabo de Palos with the aim of boosting culture, sports and family leisure activities.

This 2019 will continue with the same format as last year with the different activities that will be carried out in different parts of the town and will have a main stage located in the parking lot of the Cabo de Palos lighthouse, where bands from all over the country will perform. as of the Region.

On the other hand, the rest of activities of leisure and sport will be carried out in the beach of levante, the port and different coves where the diving and snorkel will be carried out, among others.

As a novelty and as an initiative to collaborate with the ecological field, there will be a collection of plastics and garbage on the beaches of the area, as well as the parity of the poster as well as other major national festivals.

The first confirmations that will act in this third edition will be Future Terror, Los Manises, Pájara Rey, Yana Sapphire, Wonder, Nazareno or Builtthenburnt, among many others to be confirmed.

The organization intends to carry out activities throughout the year in relation to the summer festival both in Cabo de Palos and in La Manga with small cultural and musical events, which is why the open presentation to the public of the festival has been organized with the next Friday activities.
