Last Thursday, April 11, another one of the finals of the Strings and Metals Contest took place, the Viento Metal modality says goodbye to the auditions until after Holy Week, with the following being percussion on April 24, piano on the 25th, flamenco guitar on the 29th and the 30th piano.

All will be in the auditorium of the music conservatory of Cartagena, starting at 18:00 h.

It will be on May 17, at the El Batel Auditorium at 8:00 p.m., at the Closing Ceremony and Awards Ceremony, as established in the rules, when the jury's decision will be made public in all of the modalities.

The Jury in the modality of Wind Metal was composed by: Serezade Borja Jiménez, that at the moment occupies the chair of horn in the Conservatory Superior of Music of Jaén;

Jorge Baeza Blasco, currently a trumpet teacher at the Conservatory of Music of Lorca and is Director of Orchestra and Band;

Emilio José Gómez Argumánez, trumpet professor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Alicante, has also been a trumpet teacher in the professional conservatories of Murcia, Lorca, Almansa, Cartagena and Conservatorio Superior de Murcia;

Jorge Corral Navarro, has worked as a trombone teacher for the Junta de Andalucía in the Professional Music Conservatories of Motril, Jaén and Granada, in the orchestral field he has collaborated with the Symphony Orchestra of Alicante, the Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena and has been a member of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Alicante;

Juan Antonio Zapata Escudero, trumpet teacher at the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena.
