Cash from Fire Extinguishing Services of the City of Cartagena, proceeded this Thursday, April 11 to put down a fire that had occurred in a scrap yard of industrial estate Cabezo Beaza, after notice of 112 about 11 in the morning.
Up to the scene of the events, four vehicles and a crew of ten firefighters were deployed to work on extinguishing the fire that, due to undetermined causes, had been caused in a cardboard storage area with a fairly large area.
With the help of workers of the scrap yard and machinery of the same, it was possible to remove all the accumulated material to proceed to the total extinction of the fire caused.
After almost 3 hours of work, the work was completed as the affected area was sealed by foam before a possible reignition of the fire.
There were no regrets wounded by smoke inhalation or burns.
