The Agency for Local Development and Employment today completed the second Activation for Employment program.
A support, training and support initiative has been developed for people in situations of long-term unemployment.
In the delivery of diplomas to the participants have been the program's orientation team: Mª Ángeles García Ortín and Loles Cremades Solano.
The purpose of the activation program has been to accompany and guide people who want to improve their employability, motivating and facilitating the development of skills, providing tools and helping them in planning their career path.
Much of the success of the program has been able to combine the training activity with a practical stay in a company, which has allowed participants to recover a work routine in a real environment, update their knowledge about specific tasks of their profession or learn new ones and, of course, has given the opportunity for a company to see their work, to assess their profile and professional competence, beyond the coldness of a curriculum, which in many cases does not pass the filters of the selection processes .
During the development of the program, four students have joined different jobs, at least two more people will soon begin an employment relationship and as a global result of the program we can count on an insertion of 40%.
