During these days prior to the celebration of the Holy Week, the Parks and Gardens Service of the Department of Public Services of the City of Cartagena is adorning the streets and busiest squares of the city with floral ornaments of the colors of the Brotherhoods cartageneras: Purple, red and white.
Specifically, they are installing flower plants such as petunias, daisies, sunflowers, surfinias and dimorphotecas on Calle Real, the Mediana del Puerto, the Plaza de la Isla, Bastarreche Square - Puertas de San José, following the Mediana Captains Ripoll, the Submarine Peral Rotunda, San Diego and Plaza de la Merced.
Similarly, six pyramidal planters will star Plaza España and Plaza de Alicante with species such as calibrachoa, gypsy and petunia, as well as hanging flowerpots with surfinias.
Finally, three planters that simulate the characteristic hoods of Holy Week three meters high will preside the Plaza San Francisco and San Juan Street with petunias and margaritas.
