Five criminology students, two from the University of Murcia and three from the UCAM, have completed their training as criminologists in the Local Police of Cartagena.
This training, with a total of 108 hours of practice (UCAM) and 60 hours (UM) is part of the internship period assigned to students to develop their skills within the professional field.
The students have been able to learn about the daily work that the Local Police develops in the field of prevention, in specific units such as the Traffic Police, Family Protection, Social Networks and New Technologies, ESPAC or room 092.
They have also had the opportunity to complete this training with other departments and projects of the City Council that work daily for safety and prevention, such as Civil Protection, Drug Plan, Education or the plan for passers-by and homeless people.
