The regulated parking service, the ORA, will be free in Cartagena for most of Holy Week, as recalled by the Local Police.
The drivers will only have to pay to park in three of the ten days that the processions last, from the Friday of Dolores to the Sunday of Resurrection.
The days of payment will be exclusively on Monday, Tuesday and Holy Wednesday.
The service will not work and therefore they will be free on Friday of Dolores (local holiday), Holy Thursday (regional holiday) and Good Friday (national holiday), in addition to the Saturdays of Passion (April 13) and Gloria (April 20) ).
Neither will it be necessary to pay, as is usual on Sundays of Ramos and Resurrección.
During these days and at the request of the Department of Public Services, directed by Juan Pedro Torralba, the service concessionaire is proceeding to repaint the signaling of the more than 3,700 regulated places that exist in the Casco and Ensanche streets, for citizens in general (blue), workers (green) and residents (orange).
The more than 60 pedestrian crossings that exist in these regulated zones are also being repainted.
On the other hand, the Local Police remember that Friday of Dolores, April 12, festivity of the patron saint of Cartagena, will remain closed to the public attention services in the Security Park and the Building of the City Council, as the rest of the municipal dependencies of the City of Cartagena.
