There are 5 days left for the celebration of the Extraordinary Holy Week Concert at the El Batel Auditorium.
On Sunday, April 14 at 12:30, the Cartagena Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jaime Enguidanos will pay tribute to all the deceased brothers who participated in the week of local passion and will review some of the most famous pieces related to Holy Week in Cartagena, declared of International Tourist Interest.
Tickets are still on sale with a price of 5 euros in the stalls and first amphitheater and 3 euros in the second amphitheater.
They can be purchased on the website of the El Batel Auditorium or at the box office.
The concert will start with 'Adagio' by Samuel Barber.
After this, continue with pieces that are often interpreted in the celebrations of this festival as the 'Tosca' by Puccini, which has been interpreted since the nineteenth century, as well as a fragment of the composer Wagner very heard in the parades marrajos.
As a novelty, this year they will perform 'Al cielo con ella', composed by the director, which will be performed for the first time by the orchestra, as well as 'La Madrugá', among other marches typical of the Holy Week parades of Cartagena of the centuries. XIX and XX.
