On Wednesday, April 10, the Councilor for Economic Strategy of the City of Cartagena, Carmen Martín del Amor, together with the manager of Galpemur, Inmaculada Torres, will present the 2019 call for aid from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (FEMP), focused on the diversification and the sustainable development of the coast of the Region of Murcia.
The conference, which will take place in the Municipal Archive room (Artillery Park), will begin at 9:15 am and there will be training for attendees in order to facilitate the processing of applications.
In the call for 2018, aid worth € 399,680 was granted to 38 projects, of which seven are within the municipality of Cartagena.
Among them are: a snorkel guide of Cabo de Palos, the start-up of a flake ice factory in the fishing market of Cabo de Palos, a book on the history of sailing boats in Latin, etc.
Of the four projects promoted by City Councils and subsidized in 2018, three belong to the City of Cartagena.
In summary, the grants of GALPEMUR 2018 to the municipality have involved € 151,524.42 and an investment by the promoters of € 257,757.98.
During this year 2019 the new call will allow a continuity in the implementation of the Participatory Local Development Strategy of Galpemur, which will also have the character of pluriannual, which will facilitate a better adaptation of the projects to the execution times that they need, in the framework of the years 2019 and 2020.
