Students of 6th grade of the Salesianos Cartagena school have shared a morning session of sports and nutrition with sports dietitian-nutritionist Víctor Serrano, at the Sport + Nutrition = Health meeting of the ADE Program of the Department of Sports.
The programming and celebration of this type of these meetings has as its purpose and main objective, to transfer and instill in the students the benefits of a good diet together with the practice of physical activity and the need for its application from an early age, as it is in the school stage.
The students have asked questions about how to perform a proper diet and create those healthy habits and integrate them into their lifestyle.
The children's interest in the explanations and experiences of Víctor, to be clear with their interventions at the time of knowing more details about healthy eating, knowing what are proteins, carbohydrates and fats and how to combine them.
Section also to highlight the meeting, when school children have set out to develop "the healthy plate" verbally indicating the nutrient components, under the supervision of the dietitian.
The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Autonomous Community.
