The card will give discounts to the partners of the PAECC in different businesses |

This Thursday, April 4, the Performing Arts Platform has presented its new card to commemorate the 4th anniversary of the creation of the platform.

In this way, PAECC wants to help members of the performing arts sector in Cartagena and its region with discounts and offers in shops and tickets for performances.

In addition, two honorary cards have been delivered to the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez.

The card costs 10 euros and has a validity period of 5 years.

Those interested in becoming members can send a passport size photo in JPG format and a photocopy of their ID to the email address artesescenicascartagena@gmail.com.

The president of the Performing Arts Platform of Cartagena and Region, Lito Campillo, recalled that this entity is on track to complete four years.

The PAECC was born in 2015, after a few days held at El Batel that brought together more than 500 theater, dance, music and circus professionals from the area.

Campillo recalled that in the region of Cartagena four national competitions are held to highlight the importance of performing arts in the municipality.

Of those, "one has celebrated the silver jubilee, two the twentieth anniversary and in June we will have the amateur theater of El Algar," says the president of the PAECC, Lito Campillo.

The secretary of the Performing Arts Platform of Cartagena and Region, Cristina Roca, says that the card "aims to encourage both professional and amateur companies, so they can carry out decent productions."

Roca says there are associations on the platform with little capital.

Shops that give discounts to members of the PAECC will have a sticker.

Members will also have discounts on theater plays that are performed in the Region, such as at the Teatro Circo Apolo in El Algar, where the reduction will be 10 percent.

After the presentation of the card, the president of the Performing Arts Platform of Cartagena and District, Lito Campillo, has delivered two copies to the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the City Councilor for Culture, David Martínez.
