The Santa Lucía University General Hospital has hosted the IV Day of Volunteering, Humanization and Health, which under the motto 'Walking towards the future' has gathered more than a hundred professionals and volunteers from the Cartagena hospital's auditorium. different organizations.
The inauguration this morning was run by the general director of Health Assistance of the Ministry of Health, Roque Martinez, and the manager of the Health Area of ​​Cartagena, José Sedes Romero.
The objective of this day is to show some of the projects and initiatives that are being developed in an innovative way in the field of volunteering to make patient hospitalization more bearable.
The participants in the meeting will be able to identify the areas of improvement in the integration of volunteering in the socio-health area of ​​the Region of Murcia.
The day is aimed at all citizens interested in health volunteering, health professionals, voluntary associations, public employees of the Murcian Health Service and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
The day, organized by the Ministry of Health, has had the participation of entities such as the Red Cross, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Foundation for Health Training and Research of the Region of Murcia, Dr. Guau, and City of Cartagena and with the experience of the Hospital Clínico de Barcelona.
