The English Court has been the scene of the awards ceremony of the X Puerto Cartagena de Cultura Photography Contest that took place this Wednesday, April 3, by the hand of the Councilor for Tourism and Culture of Cartagena, David Martínez Noguera, together with the director of the English Court, Alfredo Carvajal, who have handed out the diplomas and gift cards that were awarded in this photo contest.
The first and second prize awarded by a jury of experts in photography and tourism to the snapshot "Cucú" by Verónica Sáez Juliá and "Uncertainidad" Carmen Martínez Martínez who received a gift card valued at 500 and 200 euros respectively, has been awarded.
The two runners-up, which were chosen with the votes of the people who attended the exhibition of the 48 finalists, corresponded to "Calling the Story" by Eva Maria García Aguilera and "Rubik" by Carmen Maria Navarro.
Both have received a diploma and gift certificate from El Corte Inglés worth 100 euros.
The drawing of a 100 euro card has also been made in purchases of El Corte Inglés, among all the people who have voted for the election of the two runners-up.
The organization of the contest has positively assessed the quality of the photographs presented in this last edition as they reflect the spirit of the contest that was to capture the curiosity of children with their "Small Looks" in museums, sites or places that are related to the rich heritage of Cartagena.
Cartagena Port of Cultures thanks El Corte Inglés for its commitment and sponsorship with this type of contests and cultural events that allow us to show new and different images that reveal corners of our history.
