The Cartagena training continues its round of sectoral meetings, this time with José Molina, maximum regional authority in matters of transparency, to prepare a document with priority projects for the municipality
Today, MC Cartagena, represented by its spokesperson, José López, councilors Isabel García and María José Soler, as well as the president of the Cartagena training, Jesús Giménez, have held a working meeting with the president of the Council of Transparency of the Region (CTRM), José Molina, highest authority on the matter at the regional level.
The appointment, which took place at the headquarters of this body in Murcia, has been framed in the round of sectoral meetings that the coordinating team of the MC Government Program is maintaining with the different agents involved in the definition of the document that brings together the needs and priority projects for the municipality in the horizon 2019 - 2023.

MC implements transparency in the City of Cartagena
It should be remembered that it was during the Mayor's Office of Lopez when the Department of Transparency was constituted, which symbolized a new way of doing in public management, becoming Cartagena the first municipality in the Region and one of the few in the country to fulfill 100% with the indicators in quality and transparency of public communication, set by the Infoparticipa Seal.
Also, the action of MC, through Lopez and the Department of Transparency of María José Soler was reflected in various measures such as the implementation of the Municipal Transparency Portal;
the training of public employees in matters of transparency;
the adhesion to the Network of Local Entities for Transparency and Citizen Participation of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP);
as well as the Code of Good Local Government of the FEMP, in addition to subscribing to the Decalogue of Good Practices of Public Local Communication.
Transparency and Participation, key concepts in the MC Government Program
In this way, the Cartagena training confirms its commitment to citizenship and the transparency that will undoubtedly be a matter of its own with great importance in the MC Government Program.
In the same line work to continue implementing Citizen Participation to address issues such as the distribution of the municipality of Cartagena, giving greater prominence to groups on issues like this, paralyzed by the Socialist Executive, unable to develop a regulation according to real needs of the Cartagena.
In this regard, it should be remembered that, while MC carried out important measures aimed at Participation, such as the preparation of the first Participatory Budgeting, the Government of Castejón restricted this aspect by limiting or, directly eliminating, the presence of opposition political groups. in matters such as the Contracting Committee.
