The City of Cartagena has planned for the next Sunday April 14 the first route of the water trail of Perin PR-MU 115.
In this route, it will be known how the Perín water catchment system was that supplied the city of Cartagena before the arrival of Taibilla water, in the middle of the 20th century.
The route of this itinerary takes place in the vicinity of the Cartagena deputation and allows to understand how groundwater has been historically exploited, through wells and galleries, and in open courses, by means of dykes and pipes.
The route runs through one of the most beautiful areas of the municipality of Cartagena, within the Sierra de la Muela Natural Area, Cabo Tiñoso and Roldán, one of the places of greatest ecological importance in the Spanish southeast.
The tour will depart, at 9 o'clock in the morning, from the Association of Residents of Perín, with the completion scheduled at 13:00 in the same social place where there will be a talk about the water supply in Perin.
Registration can be done until 12 noon on Friday, April 12 at the email address bartperin@hotmail.es or whatsapp at 660537752.
There are limited places.
