Cleaning work on the beaches of the Mar Menor is progressing at a good pace.
In total, 22 people are already carrying out the removal of algae manually, as indicated by the Scientific Committee.
The cleaning has begun this afternoon in Los Urrutias and on Tuesday morning, the tasks will also continue in Mar de Cristal.
It is intended that by the end of this week municipal competition works will be completed.
Six workers will carry out the cleaning work in the afternoon, while 16 will carry out the work in the mornings.
In addition, gardening and street cleaning works are also being developed with the aim of making the beaches ready for Easter.
This same brigade will continue working in the coastal area during the next six months with the objective of maintaining the cleanliness of the beaches, including both the Easter and summer seasons.
