'The six-horse landau', the work of Víctor Ruiz Iriarte, arrives at the Teatro Circo Apolo in El Algar with the company Teatro del Matadero.
The performance will be Saturday, April 6 at 9:30 p.m.
Starting from a situation "surprise", the skilled author introduces us in a tender farce, according to a resource widely used in the theater of humor of the time: a group of elders, extemporaneously dressed in the style 1900, walk by the Castellana on board a imaginary landau, which is nothing other than the combination of a sofa and the sofa in the living room, and whose reins-the drapery cords-pull six imaginary horses.
On the farm of Las Colinas, where the action takes place, there reigns another logical order in which time seems suspended.
The old inhabitants of the house live in their world with all naturalness.
The counterpoint to this world and other visitors from the outside world who come to the farm invited by a mysterious Duke ... If the viewer assumes the magical face of the situation, enter the work and enjoy, no doubt, with his characters.
Tickets cost between 8 and 10 euros.
