The Implicad2 Program of the Department of Youth opens on Monday, April 1 the registration deadline for the Call for Volunteers for the XI edition of The Night of Museums, to be held on May 18.
The registration deadline for volunteering at La Noche will end on May 10.
Those interested in participating in volunteering activities can register online through the web portal of La Noche or contact the IMPLICA2 program of the Youth Department through the e-mail address implica2@ayto-cartagena.es or by calling 968128862 , ext 2
The involvement of the volunteers in the Night of the Museums will have a maximum duration of 25 hours, and a minimum of 10 hours, including both in relation to the previous preparation and the actual development of the activity.
Those wishing to participate may opt for the sponsorship of unique pieces of the different museums, accompanying routes and guided tours, informative advice and logistical support in the various activities that will be carried out throughout that day.
They will receive as maintenance against their labor a maintenance during the development of the activity, as well as a specific accreditation to the duration and task performed.
In addition, at the end of the activity, they will enjoy a free and personal pass, with the option of attending with a companion, to all the museums and archaeological sites of the city valid for the months of June and July.
Students who study at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, or UNED in the branch of History, may benefit from ECTS credits, performing their functions in spaces provided by each of the Universities
The volunteers in La Noche have become a fundamental pillar so that the Night of the Museums of Cartagena is special, without whose help the dimension that this project has been acquiring throughout its eleven editions would not have been possible.
