A 79-year-old woman and her 40-year-old daughter with disabilities have been rescued in their home located in Plaza Antón Martín in the city's Ensanche area on Friday, March 29, after alerting social worker of the Department of Social Services to Fire.
Apparently, the worker, who was in charge of monitoring these women, had not heard from them for several days, so she went to her home.
There he could see that nobody opened the door and, in addition, gave off a strong smell, calling immediately to the Firemen, who have come to the place to access the house.
Once inside, they found both women in a very deteriorated state of health, the unconscious mother on the floor and the daughter next to her, so the medical services that have been transferred to the Santa Lucia hospital have been required.
The Local Police has also intervened in the rescue.
