It is an old discipline and coincided when horses were preparing horses for war in equestrian schools.

On Sunday, March 31, the Olympic dressage test will be held, where 90 riders and amazons and their horses will participate, 25 of them are from the Cartagena club.
Although it is mixed and will not differentiate between men and women if it is going to differentiate "between young and old horses and riders children and adults."
Within this activity, the most difficult test that is going to be carried out is that of San Jorge.
The Councilor for Sports, Manuel Mora, has pointed out that the Dressage is "a mixed Olympic test, that is, where there is no difference between men and women, as they participate in the same conditions".
Both activities will be free and there will also be foodtrucks that will offer attendees different appetizers and coffees to entertain this sporting activity.
Carmen Lopez concluded that "horse riding is the only activity performed in nature with an animal, which is cared for with different treatments such as assistance to the physiotherapist, dentist or osteopath, since the athlete is both the rider like the horse itself. "
