From CTSSP we bet for the complete conservation of the building of the old prison of San Antón, and we reject the threats of those who try to convert the historical and cultural heritage of the municipality in the parking lot of a private hospital.
We bet on the value of the property, by negotiation with the owner for its acquisition (through the different formulas allowed by law) and that the building is intended for socio-community uses, for the benefit of the neighborhood of San Antón and all those cultural and historical collectives that wish to use it for social purposes.
From Podemos we appeal to the municipal government to put itself at the head of this citizen demand, and that together with the Platform of the Prison is not sold, explore all possible ways to recover the property, leaving aside the electoralism and working with decision so that the prison of San Antón remains intact and is rehabilitated for the use and enjoyment of all the citizens of Cartagena, who will be able to value it for what it is: one of the symbols of our city.
