Three thousand students of secondary education of the provinces of Albacete, Valencia, Almeria and Murcia will fill the streets of the center of Cartagena to attend the XXIV Greco-Roman Theater Festival, which will take place from 12 noon in the municipal auditorium of Torres Park .
The event that takes place annually in our city, is organized by the Cultural Association Asdrúbal and the IES Jiménez de la Espada, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena.
On the tables of the auditorium, located a few meters from the Roman Theater, students from different institutes will represent classic pieces.
The José Luis Castillo Puche de Yecla IES with Host, from Plauto will begin at 12 noon;
it will be followed by Homer's La Odysse, by AEDO Teatro de Madrid;
In the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, it will be the turn of the group KOMOS of Valencia, which will represent Oedipus Rex, of Sophocles;
finishing the performances again the group AEDO Theater with Pseudolus, of Plauto.
The Councilor for Culture and Youth, David Martínez, plans to welcome the participants throughout the day.
