Nursing students from the Los Dolores Campus have learned how they can collaborate as lifeguards and in the future as nurses in the Maritime Rescue, Terrestrial and Aquatic Preventive programs, as well as in the immediate response teams in health care or humanitarian aid emergencies
This morning the Campus of the Catholic University San Antonio in Cartagena has held, within the framework of the 14 Meetings of Health Resources of Patient Support organized by the Faculty of Nursing of the UCAM, a talk in which the head of the response team Immediately before emergencies of humanitarian aid in the Region, Daniel Martínez, explained "the possibilities they have with their career to collaborate with us" and has shown two of the ambulances available.
The students of the Degree in Nursing, until they finish their studies, can collaborate as lifeguards, assembly technicians or accompanying lifeguards in the case of ERIE Psicosocial.
There is always a previous training in the institution so that all the volunteers have the necessary training for the intervention.
