The City of Cartagena has already answered today Friday the defibrillator (DEA) of the street Jara that, on the afternoon of this Thursday, March 21, was stolen and destroyed in a vandalism.
Thanks to the GPS that has built-in the device, it has been possible to find the device and repair it immediately.
The Councilor for Citizen Security, Manuel Mora, has attended the replenishment of the DEA with the technicians of the City Council belonging to the Project 'Cartagena Cardioprotegida City' (CCC Project).
This defibrillator, like the other 4 installed in key points of the city, aims to give greater peace of mind to citizens in the case of any emergency that requires the use of one of these rescue devices.
'From the City Council we ask citizens to be aware of the importance of these devices,' states the councilor, 'can save lives.'
Three more devices will be installed throughout the center of the city and in areas of influx of people, one of them will be in the Cenit area, another in the Santa Florentina Market and another in the Plaza San Francisco.
