On the occasion of Holy Week and its 50th anniversary, the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of the Fishermen of Cabo de Palos presents its program of events that will begin on Saturday 23 with the Holy Mass at the Church of Santa María del Mar in Cabo de Palos .
The acts of Saturday will begin at 7:00 pm with the Mass, celebrated and presided over by the Bishop of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Brotherhood.
After the Mass, the Proclamation of Holy Week 2019 of Cabo de Palos will be held by the Elder Brother of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of the Fishermen, Pedro Solano Moreno, at 19:45.
The following Saturday, March 30, the Holy Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 pm in the Parish Church of Santa María del Mar de Cabo de Palos and then proceed to the Besapié to the image of the Nazarene Jesus of Cabo de Palos.
The acts will culminate on Thursday, April 18, Holy Thursday, with the Procession of the Most Holy Christ of the Fishermen of Cabo de Palos at 8.30 pm with departure from the Church until its entry and collection to the fish market after singing the salve.
