The Museum of the Roman Theater of Cartagena hosted on Saturday March 16 the 2nd Women's Day entitled 'Walking to the future', where women from different professional backgrounds shared their experiences and reflected on the future and the importance of Equality.
The event was attended by the councilor of Equality, David Martinez, the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosar Peñalver and the president of AMPIEC (Association of Women Professionals, Researchers and Entrepreneurs of Cartagena) and organizer of the event, Ascención García.
It also counted on the presence of Taekwondo-born Cartagena, European and fifth world champion, Paula Vergara, the director of the Museum of the Roman Theater, Elena Ruiz and representatives of the Colegio La Concepción, which were awarded for their contribution and commitment to the Equality.
