The Employer Profile of the municipal electronic headquarters, www.cartagena.es, has published in its Heritage section the call for bids by negotiated procedure for the granting of administrative authorization for the private use of the public domain of the city of Cartagena with occupation of the sidewalks, streets and squares, indicated in the Technical Specifications for the installation and subsequent operation of chairs and grandstands in the itineraries of the Floral Offering to the Virgin of Charity and the processions of Holy Week the City, for an initial period of two years (for the years 2019 and 2020), which may be extended by a maximum of two others.
The deadline for submission of proposals is ten calendar days, ending on Thursday, March 21 at 1:00 pm.
According to the specifications of the technical and administrative conditions, the concessionaire must place and remove the elements the chairs daily, before and after each parade or procession.
The surface of occupation of the public domain includes the itineraries of the parades and processions, subtracting the evacuation steps established by the Citizen Security Services, the spaces of the terraces of existing licensed hotel establishments and other reserves of space of diverse nature.
No chairs will be installed in front of the terrace line unless otherwise agreed with the authorized establishment for terraces on the roadway that have a valid terrace accreditation card or those that are in the process of being granted or renewed one month before the beginning of the Holy Week, comply with the authorization requirements established by the corresponding Regulatory Ordinance.
The canon or consideration of the awardee will be 70,000 euros per year upward, and updated for the following year, 2020, with the variation percentage of the CPI.
The prices of the chairs for the users will oscillate between 3 euros during the floral offering;
at 4 euros in the processions of Friday of Dolores, Holy Monday, Holy Thursday and Holy Saturday;
5 euros on Palm Sunday, Holy Tuesday and Good Friday in the morning;
and between 7 and 5 euros, according to rows, on Holy Wednesday, Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday.
