The municipal cleaning service will be improved before the summer with the addition of 320 new garbage containers;
500 bins;
electric tricycles (which will help sweepers to move and do their work more quickly);
electric blowers (special for dirt adhered to the floor) and metal boxes, as reported by the heads of Lhicarsa in the Board of Directors that was held this morning.
In fact, the company has already contracted the purchase of this machinery that will be incorporated into the municipal service in the next quarter.
The lavacontenedores and the sweeping sweepers will not reach Cartagena until after the summer, because its construction is more complex than the rest of the machinery.
On the other hand, in the Board of Directors the mayor has asked the company to comply with the Equality Plan that was approved in September 2017, since so far only ten women were hired last summer who were later dismissed. .
