On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that occurred on March 11 in Madrid, the City of Cartagena has held a minute of silence in memory of the victims of this event.
The event took place at 11 am, in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, and was convened by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, who has been accompanied by other municipal, regional and other organizations.
"With this minute of silence, all public administrations, all the municipalities of Spain, we wanted to remember those who lost their lives in that fateful attack, and we have to serve all public administrations to take into account that the important thing in life and politics is to agree to maintain the peace and security of citizens, "said the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón.
The City of Cartagena joins the initiative of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) to express the rejection of any type of terrorist violence by local councils.
