The General Directorate of Environment and Mar Menor has informed the City of Cartagena that on the day of 07/03/2019 the limit value of PM10 was not exceeded, nor that of other pollutants, in any of the control stations of existing air quality in the municipality of Cartagena.
Therefore, we proceed to deactivate the "Protocol of Municipal Action for Episodes of Air Pollution" that was activated by the exceeding of the daily limit value of PM10 particles in the populations of La Aljorra and Valle de Escombreras.
Specifically, the average daily value of PM10 particles recorded in the four control stations existing in the municipality of Cartagena, on 07/03/2018, were the following:

The General Directorate of Environment and Mar Menor has reported that there is no knowledge of incidents produced in industrial facilities in the area on 06/03/2019.
The report prediction of intrusion of African air masses over Spain, issued by the Ministry of Ecological Transition on 05/03/2019, pointed out the possibility of occurrence of Saharan dust on the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula during the day 03/06/2019, in concentrations up to 320 μg / m3.
