The Fire Department of the City of Cartagena has celebrated on Thursday, March 7, the feast of its patron Saint John of God.
A celebration that has been advanced to not coincide on Friday March 8 with the day of activities and mobilizations planned for Women's Day.
The day began at 12 o'clock when the traditional Mass in honor of the patron saint took place at the Minor Basilica of Charity with the assistance of the Fire Chief, Francisco Gómez, together with the councilor of the Public Function area, Manuel Mora, and of Public Services, Juan Pedro Torralba, as well as the councilors of the Francisco Espejo corporation, José López, Manuel Padín, Esperanza Nieto and Ricardo Segado, among others.
After the mass, all the attendees went to the Spanish wine cocktail offered at El Jardín de Molinos Marfagones to which the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has joined.
