Interest, good atmosphere, curiosity and desire to learn.
That was what prompted the visit of the children's members of the Municipal Council of Children to the Security Park of Cartagena on Friday, February 22.
The children were able to learn about the activity of the Fire Department of the city and how to act in certain situations of risk.
In addition, they were able to handle the water and foam hose used by firefighters.
The Councilor for Citizen Security, Manuel Mora, accompanied them during the tour.
This visit was a measure adopted by the Municipal Council of Children in a plenary session held on December 12, 2018 and which had the commitment of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón.
During the visit, there was a relaxed atmosphere between the youngest and the firefighters.
The members of the Municipal Council for Children showed great interest in the work carried out in the Security Park.
Even the scheduled time for the visit lasted half an hour more.
The professionals of the Cartagena Fire Department and the children that make up the Municipal Council for Children developed a cordial and enjoyable day.
