For the second year, the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia will be in the Auditorium and Conference Center El Batel with its program 'Concerts in Family' that was presented on Monday, February 25, with which it aims to promote the approach of the children to classical music in a fun way

The councilman of Culture, David Martinez, has attended the presentation with the director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, Virginia Martinez, and the Minister of Culture of the Region of Murcia, Miriam Guardiola.

"The work that the orchestra is developing in our city every time receives a better response from the public of Cartagena" declares the councilor, "this year in its symphonic cycle have doubled the number of subscribers in our city and certainly the cycle of Concerts the same fate befall the family. "

All of them will be held on Saturdays at 6 pm, the first of these concerts will be next Saturday, April 13, with the work Peer Gynt, followed by Entre las Cuerdas on May 4 and culminate with my favorite series of TV on 1st June.

The first concert, 'Peer Gynt', is based on the character of Henirk Ibsen, a restless and mischievous boy who one day decides to move away from home and into the depths of the forest.

It will be performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, with Virginia Martínez in the baton, and the company 'El Hechizo Teatro' with the well-known music of Edvard Grieg.

Since its premiere in 2014, this musical theater has filled several auditoriums in the region and has been enjoyed by more than 20,000 primary students in the orchestra's School Concert cycle.

'Between the strings' will be a montage in which several musicians of the OSRM string family will enter the stage as if they were great figures of the boxing world.

The narrator, the specialist in children's concerts Belén Otxotorena, will serve as referee and retransmit an original battle between the invited musicians and some of the most significant and characteristic heavyweights in the history of music.

With the last concert of the cycle, 'My Favorite TV Series', the El Batel Auditorium becomes a television set with a presenter -the actress Ana Hernández-, the regional Symphony, live connections, contests ... In addition to music from series and cartoons of all time for both children and adults to enjoy.

They will sound the synths of 'Blue Summer', 'Star Wars', going through 'The Simpsons', 'Peppa Pig', 'Once Upon a Time', 'The Pink Panther' or 'Game of Thrones'.

Each concert will be priced at 10 euros per ticket, but you can purchase a subscription for the three concerts for 18 euros.

Both individual tickets and tickets can be purchased at the El Batel Auditorium ticket office, as well as at the Nuevo Teatro Circo and the Symphony Orchestra of Murcia, as well as online at the Batel and ORSM websites.
