The Secretary of State for Development, Pedro Saura, announced today, Friday, February 22, that the agreement between SEPES, City of Cartagena and Autonomous Community for the development of the future Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL) of Los Camachos has been approved definitively by the General State Administration.
Once all the paperwork was saved by the central government, which passed through its approval by the State Advocacy and the General Intervention, now both the City Council and the regional government must give their approval.
In this regard, the mayor has made clear his intention to take the document to the Governing Board that will be held next week "so that the transfer of the Deposit Franco can be done immediately."
"I hope that the Autonomous Community also tries to speed up the process and take it to the Government Council as soon as possible," said Ana Belén Castejón.
The first execution unit contemplates a total of 270,000 square meters, of which through this agreement the first 65,000 are purchased, where the facilities of the Transportation Center of Cartagena and the Consortium Depósito Franco de Cartagena will be moved.
