On Sunday, February 24, there will be the inauguration of a new park and a study room in El Albujón with the assistance of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón.
The first mayor will be accompanied by the Councilor for Infrastructure, Juan Pedro Torralba;
the mayor of Seguridad Ciudadana, Manuel Mora;
the Councilor for Culture, Tourism and Equality, David Martinez and the Councilor for Education, Social Services and Transparency, Mercedes García.
The opening of the park, a project that has been carried out after the requests of the residents of the council within the framework of the Participatory Budgets with a total cost of € 59,000, will take place in the Plaza de la Juventud at 12.30, which It has 490 m2 with a rubber floor decorated with children's drawings as well as a circuit of traditional games, swings with baskets inclusive and adapted, as well as sensory games.
For its part, the study room will open its doors at 1:30 pm and will remain open 24 hours at the disposal of citizens over 16 years.
The area will be video-monitored by the Local Police of Cartagena, it will have 18 stations and an internet connection via wifi.
This classroom is the second that opens these characteristics after the first in El Algar.
