The Councilor for the Environment, Manuel Mora, presented on the morning of today, February 21, the draft of the new Ordinance of Noise to the rest of political groups represented in the City of Cartagena.
As the mayor himself has advanced, the document that has been presented today is in full consonance with current regulations, both national and European, in terms of protection against noise pollution.
"It is also the result of a process of citizen participation that the City Council launched on a completely voluntary basis, during which about 400 allegations have been received, of which 48% have been included in the draft, as we believe that it contributes to enrich the ordinance, "he said.
In this sense, Mora has stressed that of the 68 proposals submitted by the host groups represented by Hostecar and COEC, have been fully or partially accepted up to 26.
Another of the novelties that this ordinance includes is that it regulates aspects that until now were not as local with ambient music, small format performances and music on the terraces.
