The schools Vicente Ros and Virgen del Carmen have won the municipal phase of the tournament 'playing athletics' in the youngest category.
Both centers, having occupied the first two positions in both male and female category, will compete on behalf of Cartagena in the regional final of this competition.
These schools have been imposed among the more than 30 that have participated in the municipal tournament, held on Wednesday, February 20 at the Palace of Sports of Cartagena.
The centers Vicente Ros and Virgen del Carmen have been imposed in the overall classification after the dispute of the tests of: 10x10 meters race, soft javelin throw, jumps to feet together from standstill, medical ball throw, obstacle lateral jump, relays 5x1 and great prix.
The Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, the Athletics Club El Cano and the Athletics Club Cartagena have coordinated a device composed of technicians of the Department of Sports, athletics judges, volunteers of the IES Mediterranean TAFAD and 12 buses for the displacement of participants and teachers.
The regional final of 'Playing Athletics' will be played on Thursday, February 28 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Cartagena.
