Yesterday, the spokesman of the Municipal Group MC Cartagena, José López, and the Councilor of the Cartagena formation in the Consistory, Ricardo Segado, went to the social premises of La Puebla where they met with a significant number of neighborhood representatives of that town, in addition to other population centers such as La Aparecida, Los Camachos and Los Batos.
During the evening a debate was held around the main issues that currently focus on these peoples.
The MC member was also present at the Neighborhood Board of La Puebla La Aparecida, Santiago León.
The meeting began with the intervention of Segado who, briefly, made a reminder about the participation of MC in the municipal government in the current term, a management marked by efficiency in the optimization of resources, transparency, participation and rescue economic facilitated from the Mayor's office of MC and the Department of Finance.
Later, Lopez was in charge of informing the assembled the important work done by the Cartagena representatives in the Neighborhood Meeting of La Puebla La Aparecida through more than fifty initiatives since the beginning of the legislature.
Among them, the remodeling of José Manuel Claver Avenue;
the demand for water to obtain water for irrigation;
the installation of signaling of dispersed nuclei, as well as the reclamation of improvement of highways to the competent authorities.
In the same way, they realized the actions carried out in Los Camachos and Los Batos and other relevant matters such as the claim of MC to demand the renovation of the sewerage in the Industrial Area of ​​Los Camachos.
Two doctors for La Puebla and La Aparecida
In the health field, MC management, with Councilman Francisco Calderón as head of the Quality of Life area, allowed the offices of La Puebla and La Aparecida to count each one of them with their own doctor thanks to the incorporation of a new doctor. full time, which has allowed a significant improvement in health provision in both centers.
Breaches of the PSOE with the northeast
Likewise, throughout the meeting the repeated breaches of the Socialist Executive that, in a special way, have affected this part of the municipality, became evident.
Thus, neighbors and MC regretted that Castejon and his team did not want to implement the amendment for the 'adaptation of municipal buildings', a departure that should have been intended for the completion of the industrial area of ​​Los Camachos in order to house the association of entrepreneurs of said polygon, as well as allocate a part of it as a warehouse of brigades and archaeological remains, eliminating the lease of the ship in the Polígono Cabezo Beaza.
In the same way, the project of the Archery Field is pending execution, a project chosen by the residents in the Participatory Budgets of 2018.
Neighbors show their preferences
At the time of remembering the past, the session ended with an enriching debate in which the neighbors exposed the lines of action they understand should be a priority during the next legislature, proposals that were collected by MC representatives.
Thus, there was talk of the need to adapt access to the school in La Puebla;
expand the educational offer of the La Aparecida school (with one more classroom and including primary education);
the improvement of the current one or the construction of a new social room or multipurpose pavilion in La Aparecida, as well as the sewer optimization in Los Beatos.
