The Department of Youth of the City of Cartagena has announced on Monday the details of the Return Program of Talent to Cartagena, which is organized by the Department and is managed by the Company Local Initiatives.
This is an action aimed at young emigrants aged 18 to 34 who have been born, lived or studied in Cartagena, who currently reside outside Spain and want to return to their land, or who have returned in the last 6 months.
The Councilor for Youth, David Martinez, explained that "the objective of this program is that young people who went abroad to train or in search of better job opportunities, return home and whose return is as easy as possible.
In addition, that they do it with the peace of mind of returning to their land with possibilities of professional development ".
To do this, young people will have the help of specialized counselors, services and resources for employment, and collaborating entities.
In addition, the Councilor for Youth has stated that through the new website 'Return of Talent to Cartagena' retornoacartagena.es, "is intended to promote contact between young professionals and local companies that demand talent."
In order for users to know the companies and collaborating entities, the website includes a Resource Map where companies can register their logo, location, link to their corporate website and link to job offers that will be published in said section.
Dosfarma SL, a leading cartagenera company in the distribution of pharmacy and parapharmacy items, has been responsible for hiring the first return of the Talent Return Program: Carmen Cal de Lara.
Its CEO, Juan Desmonts, has indicated that it is "fortunate that this initiative exists because a well-educated person, return to his city or country, is a gift that brings talent to any company."
Carmen Cal de Lara is a graduate in Tourism and after an international trajectory of more than 11 years between France, the United Kingdom and Ireland, she returned in mid-September to Cartagena.
He contacted the people in charge of the Program when he saw the announcement of the Christmas meeting that took place in December.
Currently, he has joined the Customer Service Department of Dosfarma.
"I have decided to return to Cartagena because I miss my family and friends, Cartagena and the sunlight that there is so little in Ireland."
