The Cultural Association Modernist Friends of Cartagena held this Saturday, February 16, its official presentation and did it from the social premises of the Barrio de Peral in an act that also attended the Councilor for Culture of the City of Cartagena, David Martinez.
The presentation began with a welcome cocktail for authorities, partners and supporters, and continued with the screening of the short film 'Traición a Peral', by the Cartagena director, José Blas Hernández.
On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the launching of the submarine, the director of Cartagena decided to make a short film that will count since Isaac Peral had the idea of ​​manufacturing the submarine until his death at 43 years of age.
A woman is the one who tells the story, in which past and present are mixed, with scenes in black and white and color.
In addition, a wreath was placed on the monument to Isaac Peral, on San Carlos Street.
The event was attended by the mayor of the municipal corporation Francisco Calderón.
