The Botica del Libro project received this Friday, February 15, the check of 2,500 euros collected by the Cartagena FAPA in the Palace Hall with the assistance of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, with the Councilor for Social Services and Education , Mercedes García, and the Councilor for Public Services, Manuel Mora.
This is a grant that was raised last November by the Federation of Parents and Students Association within the framework of the day of solidarity in which held the talk 'Small revolutions to enjoy life' Elsa Punset in the UPCT.
The tickets had a cost of 5 euros that would be used for solidarity purposes.
The City Council decided to allocate the proceeds, in this case 2,500 euros, to the reading promotion project La Botica del Libro that takes place in two neighborhoods of the city of Cartagena: Lo Campano, a peripheral neighborhood of the city with high rates of social marginalization and cultural center, and José M. Lapuerta, a low-middle class neighborhood with a high immigrant population.
In Elsa Punset's talk, the keys of an adaptable and creative brain that we can train as a muscle to live and collaborate with others, to communicate effectively, to have satisfactory interpersonal relationships, to resolve conflicts and to overcome adversity, were unveiled. make strategic decisions or to express our creative capacity.
